Terms and conditions are usually written to be skipped. We tried to write ones worth reading — short sections, plain language, nothing copied from somewhere else.
Written to be read, not just posted. A few jurisdiction- and business-specific details are still coming — marked below rather than guessed at.
The basics
These terms cover using this site and buying from Panda Sports Memorabilia (“Panda,” “we,” “us”). By browsing the site or placing an order, you're agreeing to them. If something here doesn't sit right with you, email us before you order — we'd rather sort it out than have you feel stuck with it.
Panda Sports Memorabilia isn't run through a separate registered company — it's a sole proprietorship, operated directly by the family running it. Business address — coming soon
Who we are
Panda is a family-run shop selling authenticated sports memorabilia — signed jerseys, balls, game-used gear and photography. We buy every item ourselves and resell it; nothing here is sold at auction or on consignment. We also donate 10% of sales proceeds to a cancer charity or foundation of our choice. Buying from us
Listings
We describe every item as accurately as we can, including what documentation — if any — it carries. A listing's photographs are of the actual piece, not a stock image, unless it says otherwise; actual colour can still vary slightly from what you see, depending on your screen. Condition notes are our own assessment unless a piece carries a third-party grading slab — ask us for more photos or specifics before you buy if you want a closer look.
Prices
Prices are shown in USD. Each listed price is all-inclusive — it covers standard (priority) shipping through FedEx, UPS or another reputable carrier, any applicable taxes, fees and insurance, so nothing is added afterward. The one exception: if you specifically request faster, expedited shipping, that costs extra on top of the listed price. There's no bidding: every item is sold at a fixed price. If we catch a pricing error before your order ships, we'll contact you rather than silently honour or cancel it.
Payment
Reserving an item saves a card on file with Stripe, our payment processor — entered directly into their own secure field, never seen or stored by us. Nothing is charged at that point. Once your order ships, that saved card is charged automatically for the listed amount, without further action from you.
One-of-a-kind items
Most of what we sell is a single physical piece, not stock we can reorder. Very occasionally, two orders can land for the same item before our system catches up — if that happens to you, we simply won't invoice you for it and will tell you why, rather than substitute something you didn't ask for.
Order acceptance
Placing an order is you asking to buy something, not a guarantee we can fill it. We'll confirm by email once it's accepted; until then, either of us can cancel it.
Shipping & sales policy
Shipping timelines and international availability are covered on our FAQ; shipping cost itself is already part of the listed price. Our sales policy — every sale is final, no refunds or exchanges — is covered in full on our Refund Policy page. Rather than duplicate either here, those pages are the current word on both — check them before you order.
Risk of loss passes to you once an order is handed to the carrier. A lost or damaged parcel doesn't change the sale — it's final either way, the same as any other order.
Using this site
Use it to browse and, once it's live, to buy something. Don't scrape it, don't try to break it, don't place fraudulent orders, and don't use anything on it — copy, photographs, the panda mark — without asking us first.
What's ours
The site's design, text, photography, and the Panda Sports Memorabilia name and logo belong to us, or to whoever we've licensed them from. Nothing here gives you a right to reuse them.
Other people's trademarks
Team names, league marks and player likenesses that appear on items we sell belong to their respective owners. Buying a genuine piece from us doesn't come with any license to those marks, and nothing on this site is meant to imply that Panda is affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any team, league or athlete — we're an independent reseller of goods we've bought, not a licensed retailer.
Links to other sites
A few links on this site lead elsewhere — our social profiles, or a family member's own business. We're not responsible for what those sites say or do; they're not part of Panda.
Signing up for emails
Giving us your email to hear about new arrivals means we'll email you about that, and nothing else, until you unsubscribe. See our Privacy Policy for what we do with it in the meantime.
Liability & disclaimers
We describe every item as honestly and accurately as we can, and don't make claims about it beyond what its own listing says. Every sale is still final without exception, including where authenticity or condition is later disputed — see our Refund Policy.
To the extent the law allows it, our responsibility for any other claim relating to an order is limited to what you paid for it. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses — a missed opportunity, a gift arriving late, that kind of thing.
Nothing here limits any right you have under law that can't legally be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by United States federal law and the law of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from them is handled in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts.
Changes to these terms
We can update these terms as the shop changes — same rule as our other policies: we'd rather tell you here than let it go unsaid. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new version.
