Questions, answered plainly
We haven't opened yet, so some of this is about how we intend to work rather than how we already do. Where we haven't settled a policy, it says so — we'd rather leave a gap than invent a number.

Authenticity & certificates
What does “authenticated” mean here?
That the item is genuine and that we've checked it in person against whatever documentation came with it before listing it. Each listing states exactly what a piece carries — a certificate, a grading slab, or nothing beyond our own description — so you're never guessing. Nothing is listed from photographs alone.
Who does the authentication?
Never us — that's the point. Where a piece arrives with a certificate or a grading slab from an established authenticator, the listing names them. Where it doesn't, the listing says that too. A certificate written by the person selling you the item is worth very little, so we don't write any.
Does my item come with a certificate?
Whatever paperwork the piece came with ships with it — the listing tells you what that is before you buy. Keep the two together: separated from its certificate, a signed piece is worth a fraction of what it was, and no replacement we could write would fix that.
What if an item turns out not to be authentic?
You get your money back in full. If you have reason to think a piece isn't what we sold it as, email us with what you've found and we'll deal with it rather than argue about it.
How do graded cards work?
They arrive in their sealed slab, exactly as graded. The grade is on the listing and on the slab itself. Don't break the seal — an opened slab loses the grade, and with it most of the reason the card is worth what it is.
Can I ask questions about a piece before I buy?
Please do. Email us and we'll send extra photographs, close-ups of the signature or tags, and whatever we know about where the piece came from. There's no pressure attached to asking.
If it isn't authentic, you get your money back
That covers every item we sell, and it isn't a promotion or a limited offer — it's the deal. If you have reason to think a piece isn't what we said it was, email us with what you've found and we'll sort it out rather than argue about it.

Shipping
We haven't opened yet, so the specifics below aren't final. Everything will be published in full before the first order ships — we'd rather leave a gap here than put up a number we might have to change.
What does shipping cost?
It will be calculated at checkout from the destination and the size of the item, and shown in full before you confirm. Rates aren't finalised yet. Coming soon
How is my order packed?
Garments ship flat in tissue inside a rigid box. Cards ship sleeved and immobilised in a void-filled carton. Framed and rigid items are packed to suit the piece rather than to suit a standard box. Nothing is folded that shouldn't be folded.
Do you ship internationally?
We haven't finalised which countries we'll ship to. Coming soon Wherever we do ship, import duties and taxes are the buyer's responsibility and are charged by your country, not by us.
How soon does it ship, and can I track it?
You'll get a tracking number by email as soon as it's on its way. Dispatch times aren't set yet. Coming soon
Is my order insured in transit?
Insurance and signature-on-delivery terms aren't finalised. Coming soon What is settled: if a carrier loses or damages something, sorting it out is our job, not yours — see the damage question below.
Group three
Returns & damage
Can I return something?
Yes. The length of the window isn't set yet — Coming soon What we can tell you now is that the same terms will apply to every item: we don't run sales, so there'll be nothing marked final-sale to catch you out.
What condition does it need to come back in?
As it arrived, with the certificate included and any grading slab still sealed. Unpack the box, not the piece — once a slab is opened or a certificate is separated from its item, neither of us can put it back the way it was.
Who pays return shipping?
We do, if the item isn't what the listing said it was — that one isn't up for debate. Who pays on a change of mind is still being worked out. Coming soon
It arrived damaged. What now?
Photograph the box before you unpack any further, then email us with the pictures. Keep all the packing material — the carrier will want to see it. We handle the carrier claim ourselves and settle with you directly, rather than making you wait on them: a replacement where an equivalent piece exists, a full refund where it doesn't.
When does the refund come through?
Once the item is back with us and checked, to the payment method you used. Processing time isn't set yet. Coming soon
Group four
Payment
Are there fees on top of the listed price?
No buyer's premium and no auction fees — that's the main reason to buy from a shop rather than a saleroom. You pay the listed price, plus shipping and whatever sales tax applies where you are.
How can I pay?
We're still setting up checkout, so the final list isn't settled. Coming soon
Do you offer payment plans?
Undecided. If we do, it'll be on higher-value pieces and it won't carry interest. Coming soon
Will you hold an item for me?
Undecided. Coming soon
What about sales tax?
Calculated at checkout based on where the order is going, and shown before you confirm. Nothing is added afterwards.
