What we collect, and why
We don't have much to collect yet — there's no ecommerce backend, no analytics and no tracking on this site. This page says exactly what exists today, and what changes once we open.
Written for a shop that hasn't opened yet, in plain language rather than legal boilerplate. It isn't a substitute for legal advice, and a couple of business-specific details below are still being confirmed. Legal entity & registered address — coming soon
What we collect
Right now, that's just what you choose to type into the email field on the home page — and what you send us if you email us directly.
The notify-me form
Submitting that form sends your email to Resend, the mailing list tool we use, which adds it to the list we'll email when we open. Resend only sees the address itself — nothing else on the form is sent to them. Every email that list ever receives from us carries a working unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from Resend's side of things, not just our inbox.
Emailing us directly
If you write to info@pandasportsmemorabilia.com, we receive whatever you choose to send — your address, your name if you give it, and the contents of your message — the same as any email, kept in an ordinary inbox Jake reads.
Once ordering is live
Placing an order will mean giving us the ordinary details needed to ship something and take payment — a name, a delivery address, an email, and payment handled by whichever processor we use rather than stored by us directly. We'll update this page to say exactly what and how before that happens, not after.
Cookies & other tech
This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising trackers — nothing watches how you browse it.
The one outside connection is Google Fonts: your browser requests a couple of typefaces from Google's own servers to render this page, which — like any request to Google — can expose your IP address to them under Google's privacy policy. We use it for the type, not for tracking, but we can't speak for what Google does on their end.
Coming soon — once checkout exists, this section will list any payment or shipping tool that sets its own cookies, and what for.
Who sees it
Nobody outside Panda reads what you send us — in practice, that's Jake. We don't sell, rent or trade contact information — not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
The mailing list address above is Resend — the only outside company that currently sees anything you send us, and all it sees is an email address on a list. Coming soon — once we're taking orders, this section will also name the payment processor and shipping carrier we use. Each of them sees only what they need to do their one job — charge a card, print a label — never the whole picture.
Your choices
- See what we have on you — email us and we'll tell you.
- Correct it — tell us what's wrong and we'll fix it.
- Delete it — ask and we'll remove it, except where we're required to keep a record of an actual sale for tax or accounting purposes. Retention period — coming soon
If you're somewhere with specific rights we haven't named — the EU or UK's GDPR, California's CPRA, or similar — those apply to the extent the law requires. Either way, you don't need to know which one to invoke: emailing us with a plain request is enough.
Panda isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 (or the equivalent age where you live). If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.
Keeping it safe
We keep what you send us only as long as we have a reason to — to answer your question, fulfil an order, or meet a legal requirement, mainly tax and accounting records. Exact retention periods — coming soon, once we know what our accountant and our payment processor actually require.
This site is served over HTTPS, so anything sent to it is encrypted in transit. We don't ask for or store payment card details ourselves — that will run through whichever payment processor we choose, under their own security standards rather than ours.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page as the shop actually changes — when checkout goes live, when we pick a payment processor and shipping carrier, when anything above stops being true. We won't backdate a change or apply it retroactively without saying so plainly.
